Obama in Prophecy

This entire presentation was based on a logical, mathematical approach—a proof of sorts. It initially presents a false assumption and then proceeds to a conclusion that could be truly valid. In using probability, there is a point at which the probability of something being valid is so high that it cannot be false. It is up to the viewer to decide if my presentation reaches that point.

Music is added to the background to help those of a musical type. Movies have shown how powerful music can be in a presentation. Where would any of these blockbuster movies be without the music? Music can move the emotions of the listener like no other method.

The dialogue throughout the presentation is designed to appeal to the linguistic type. The dialogue lack flow and enthusiasm. Unfortunately, it is my natural voice, and even after numerous attempts, there is little difference between the first and the last attempt. The use of slides allows the viewer to hear the message and see some of the information in the form of slides. Information organized on slides helps the view organize the information in their minds. This also so appeals to the special type so they can see the information in a drawing on animated form.

I tried to add as much variety and animation as possible to keep the viewer attention and to keep then curious about what was going to be next. It is difficult to maintain the viewers’ attention without variety and the more animation the better. The material only serves to give the viewer enough information to wet their interests. A compete discussion of each topic with fill at least a full-length book on the topic. A reference section at the end allows the viewer to obtain more information on each of the individual topics.

The presentation is designed to make someone think about what is a pure coincidences and what is created by design to carry a hidden message. The final conclusion will vary from individual to individual, but the impact is there.

The Beginning of the End of Free Speech in America

End of Free Speech Discussion on FOX News

The President has signed an executive order ending free speech in his presence or in the presence of anyone he designates. This is in direct violation to the First Amendment of the United States. It is incredible how far the President will go to silence all opposition to his will. If we do not demand that Congress and courts halt his advancing agenda–then we will be slaves to him in our own country.

Letter from dad disowning his gay son.

Letter from dad disowning his gay son.
Photo from The Blasé post of Aug. 7, 2012.

As a follow-up to my project on homosexuality and the Bible, I found this tragic letter in an article from The Blaze. The letter is from a father to his gay son. The text is as follows:

James: This is a difficult but necessary letter to write. I hope your telephone call was not to receive my blessing for the degrading of your lifestyle. I have fond memories of our time together, but that is all in the past. Don’t expect any further conversations with me. No communication at all. I will not come to visit, nor do I want you in my house. You’ve made your choice, though wrong it may be. God did not intend for this unnatural lifestyle. If you choose not to attend my funeral, my friends and I will understand. Have a good birthday and good life. No present exchanges will be accepted. Goodbye, Dad.

Yahoo News ran a story about a victim James Holmes of the recent Colorado shooting forgiving the shooter for the damages he received. Most people in this situation would seek retribution. Holmes went above the usual and said he forgave the shooter, wanted to meet him  someday, and pray for him. In sharp contrast, the father of the gay son has not forgiven his son, has disowned him, has no place in his life for his son, and has expressed no love or compassion for his son.

In the project homosexuality and the Bible, it was evident that fundamentalist harbor hatred and animosity towards all gays and lesbians. Their feelings towards those in the gay and lesbian community go beyond the belief that they are not living according to the Bible. Several individuals expressed a belief that God would judge the United States for allowing gays and lesbians to have equal rights with the heterosexual community.

Father Tim Thompson of Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Denton, Texas, expresses a more moderate view towards the gay and lesbian community. He argues that we should concentrate on the compassion shown by Christ rather than the verses that are consistently used to show homosexuality as sin.

Homosexuality and the Bible FollowUp from Larry Rice on Vimeo.

(Interview with Father Tim Thompson on April 24, 2012.)

In the future, I will present articles on the point of view that the Bible does not condemn homosexuality, and that same-sex committed couples are actually approved by God.

What the Government is not Telling you about the National Debt

Have you ever wondered why Congress keeps on spending and refusing to balance the budget? One accountant believes he has the answer. Hal Mason does the simple math that shows that even if they closed every government agency, including defense, we would still not collect enough taxes to pay the interest and mandatory spending. So, our Congress just keeps the gravy train going, until we all go over the cliff together. Let your Representative and Senator know that your not happy with the way they are handling the situation.

End of America as We Know It

America has a fatal disease; it is called cognitive dissonance. We are so accustom to the way life has been that we cannot imagine the possibility of a drastic change. We are at war, but the media report remarkably little about its existents. It called a police action, an overseas contingency operation. Few call it what it is–a war for our survival. Glenn Beck has produced a new video that warns of the dangers that are coming unless America wakes up.

Rumor of War III

Furthermore, Dick Morris talks about Obama answer to our problems–sell us out to the UN. Signing treaties that give our sovereignty over to the UN will not stop the war or end the violence. Check out his latest video on how to stop these treaties.

Boys Town Jerusalem: Helping Young Men Succeed

Boys Town Jerusalem

Boy Town Jerusalem is one of the premier facilities for disadvantaged Jewish boys from over 45 countries. We spoke with Rabbi Ezra E. Berenholz,
National Director of Development of Boys Town Jerusalem. He described the mission of Boys Town Jerusalem as turning “young boys from limited background into young men with limitless futures.” He states that they provide opportunities in technology, commerce, education, military, and public service for these boys to be the next generation of Israel’s finest. Boys Town Jerusalem was founded in 1948 by Alexander S. Linchner and provides these boys with a home life and education from junior high school through college level. They provide training in academic, technological, and Judaic studies. He continued, “The 18-acre campus is a home away from home for more than 850 students.” Boys Town Jerusalem has produced more than six thousand graduates.
We asked Rabbi Berenholz to tell about one of the students that have made some outstanding progress at Boys Town Jerusalem. Here, is the audio from that interview:

When individuals donate to charitable organizations, they are concern about how their money is used and is their money used effectively. We consulted two charitable rating organizations and were pleasantly surprised at their high rating. The Better Business Bureau reached the conclusion: “Boys Town Jerusalem Foundation of America (BTJ) meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.” Additionally, we checked Charity Navigator, and found that they compared favorably with several similar charitable organizations.

Boys Town Jerusalem has produced many success stories of Boys who have had their life turned around and have become extraordinarily successful citizen. Boys Town certainly deserves our support and has done a superb job of managing their donation.
Donations can be made at their web site here.

Texas FOIA Law

One of the essential elements in maintaining our freedom in the United States is governmental transparency. There is the adage “power corrupts.” Government officials have a tremendous amount of power. Power not only to create wealth for themselves, but to effect control over every aspect of our lives. It is true that these individuals are elected or appointed to represent the people of the nation, state, or local community, but few people can resist the intoxication of immense power.
One of the key ways of preventing corruption is transparency. Barbara A. Petersen, President of Florida’s First Amendment Foundation, discusses the need for transparency in her paper “Transparency Can Keep Government Accountable.”
In her article, she comments “Understanding that greater transparency results in a higher level of the government accountability, the ‘goal of the transparency measures is to provide increased accountability in government by allowing the public to have electronic access to expenditure information.’” As long as the public has oversight on all the actions of their public officials, the temptation to misuse their power is reduced considerable. Most politicians will want to seek re-election; the public outrage over misappropriation of funds presents a deterrent to corrupt activities on the part of politicians.
One of methods providing transparency is an online database for the activities of the state or federal activities. The Internet has given us tools that allow us to access information anywhere in the world at any time of day. Many states have made an effort to combine much of the data so those individuals do not have to visit multiple sites to gather the information that they need. Having the capacity is not enough; we must exercise it and make sure the government officials know when we are displeased with their actions. Only by constant vigil can we secure our freedom and freedom for our children and grand children.
Some information will never get on some Internet database. For those instances, we have the FOIA laws. We discussed the FOIA law of Texas with Kevin Cruser, Chief of Staff for Myra Crownover, Texas state representative. He provided a variety of information about Texas laws, especially those FOIA laws that deal with Senators and Congressman of Texas. The following video presents our telephone interview with Cruser.
